Lei Jue stuck both hands in his pockets, and a tremor ran through his heart at Wei Li’s words, but his face remained expressionless, “The A3 plan doesn’t affect me anymore.. What the hell does your first command have to do with me?”

Wei Li gritted his teeth, “Then what if I said it might have something to do with your mother?”

Lei Jue stared at Wei Li and fell silent for a few seconds, as if in thought…

But just when Wei Li had a trace of hope and thought he might agree to the terms, Lei Jue smiled a cold smile, “You’ll not make it out, but if your answer satisfies me, I’ll consider helping you die quicker.”

Instantly, Wei Li’s face was covered with a layer of what seemed to be utterly black petroleum.

He was furious. but there was nothing else they could do.

Lei Jue saw that he wasn’t talking and was about to keep going when Wei Li cried out in fear, “She might not be dead!”

If this had happened before he knew about the origin wood, Lei Jue might have believed him. But now that he knew the wolf carving was Di Na’s origin wood, he would have never believed such words.

“You have no proof. How are we supposed to believe you?” Xiao Lingyu had someone open the door and walked in.

“Lei Jianying had me execute the first A3 plan. At first, he wanted me to give Lei Jue a suggestion that if his family or someone like him, such as another clan member, found him, he had to report it to Lei Jianying immediately,” Wei Lie hurriedly said, “So I suspect that he might have family members who are still alive.”

“Suspect?” Xiao Lingyu frowned, “How much do you think your suspicion is worth? You dare talk of ‘suspicion’ now?”

“No, no, no! I – I’m sure!” Wei Li corrected as his face flushed and then paled in anxiety. “I’m sure! He definitely has family members alive!”

“Do we have people who can plant suggestions in people’s brains?” Lei Jue ignored Wei Li’s anxiously expectant gaze and asked Xiao Lingyu.

“Of course, and they’re much better than him. We can make him want to die but cannot.”

“Then let’s give him a taste of his own medicine and see if he dares to do something like this again in his next life,” Lei Jue said and then walked out the door without even looking back.

“Sure babe, whatever you say.” Xiao Lingyu trailed behind like a loyal puppy.

“You – you don’t believe me?!” Wei Li fretted so much he sweated, “No, no, no. I’m telling the truth! It’s true! Lei Jue! Lei Jue, your mother might still be alive!”

“Ding!” The prison room’s AI doors slammed shut once again.

Xiao Lingyu hooked an arm around Lei Jue’s shoulder as they walked further and further away. The guard who was brought over from Holy Eagle Mecha Corp remained expressionless, but he thought, Xiao Lingyu and Lei Jue, it’s one thing for you to act all lovey-dovey at the corps! But here?! Can you two be more modest!

Right then, Lei Jue seemed to sense something and turned around to look at a certain guard. That single glance was enough to make the hairs on the guy stand up.

“What is it?” Xiao Lingyu asked.

“Nothing,” Lei Jue tried to sense everyone’s emotions around them and raised an eyebrow. He accepted the box Yu Le handed him and then continued walking forward.

“If these children can be revived, let’s put them under our name.” Lei Jue said as he boarded the flightcraft.

“Sure. This will avoid having unpleasant people constantly making designs on them,” Xiao Lingyu watched Lei Jue’s hands gently stroke the box, “But if that’s the case, should we hurry and come up with a plan? After all, we’re not sure how long it’ll take for the children to revive,” They need to start building a foundation to avoid people’s suspicions.

“We’ll see what happens, but I’m not entirely sure.” Lei Jue thought of a few plans but, based on what they knew, the success rates were all very low.

Based on what happened to Uncle, they should first induce growth in the Offspring Tree and then revive the origin wood. But now the tree hosts were dead, so how would they induce growth in the origin wood?

When they got home, Lei Jue carefully checked things over three times and discovered that there were twelve origin woods with their original seeds intact. He had to get the tree seeds to sprout first.

Back then, he ,Xiao Lingyu, and Uncle and Zuo Feng had all done this through intimacy pheromones or some kind of emotion. So what about these children’s seeds?

It was a rare occasion where the triplets were asleep at their grandparents’ place, so Lei Jue and Xiao Lingyu decided against bringing them back. Lei Jue thought and then took out one of the tree seeds and put it in a tiny box on their nightstand. The box was a small one that had originally been used to house a toy. It was pretty cute, and Lei Jue had originally thought to keep it around to catch bugs with the children.

Lei Jue didn’t say anything to Xiao Lingyu. When Xiao Lingyu walked out of the bathroom, Lei Jue turned his head to glance at Xiao Lingyu.

Xiao Lingyu didn’t notice what he was doing. All he saw was the way the pajamas hung loosely on Lei Jue and the strand of hair that fell against Lei Jue’s collarbones as Lei Jue turned his head. That ink-black hair made Lei Jue’s already pale skin more visually shocking, so Xiao Lingyu’s attempts at drying his hair slowed down.

He could have blown his hair and then come out. But Xiao Lingyu believed that Lei Jue liked how he dried his hair after a bath, so recently, he’s been walking out like this. He thought Lei Jue might appreciate that moment of sexiness.

Lei Jue quietly put the cover on the box and stood up to walk over to Xiao Lingyu. There seemed to be a quiet flame burning in his eyes, one that heated the other man up.

Xiao Lingyu’s breathing halted for a second, and he tossed his towel aside. Tilting slightly forward, he pressed his forehead against Lei Jue’s and said, “I think we’ve got it wrong. You seem more like a metal natural ability user, and I’m the wood one.”

“Hmmm? Why?”

“I feel electrocuted just by looking at your eyes,” Xiao Lingyu sighed, “Thankfully, you can help me recover, or else I’d die inside you.”

“Tsk, did I really shock you?” Lei Jue’s fingers trailed lightly across the edge of Xiao Lingyu’s towel, “How come I don’t feel it?”

“How about this?” Xiao Lingyu brought Lei Jue’s hands down slightly and pressed it against the already bulging area, “Feel that?”

“What?” Lei Jue licked his lips and leaned back his head. He looked into Xiao Lingyu’s eyes, “Do you want to try and do me twenty or thirty times a day?”

Xiao Lingyu thought about Xiao Lei’s ability to go at it fifty or sixty times and instantly felt jealous. He carried the man over to the bed and then jumped on him, biting down on Lei Jue’s collarbones, vetting his frustration slightly.

Though they’ve been together for quite a while and have done this intimate act countless times, his desire is so easily aroused by the other man! It made it seem like he had no self-control.

But he didn’t. Not when it came to Lei Jue.

Xiao Lingyu reached a hand inside Lei Jue’s pants and rubbed roughly. When he looked at Lei Jue, his eyes were red and filled with the desire to conquer.

Under that gaze, Lei Jue completely forgot about his original intent. He lifted his hips slightly to make it easier for Xiao Lingyu. At the same time, his hands didn’t slack off and pulled Xiao Lingyu’s towel off…

He quickly felt the sensation of something hard pressing against his abdomen.

“How energetic,” Lei Jue laughed and then suddenly flipped around so that he sat on Xiao Lingyu and looked down at the man.

“When you sit on it, you’ll discover that it’ll be more energetic. Want to try?” Xiao Lingyu smiled and thrust his waist upwards.

Finally, they didn’t have to worry about Pipi and the other children suddenly waking up or things like that. The two of them enjoyed this rare time together.

Xiao Lingyu wasn’t crazy enough to actually do it twenty or thirty times. Partly because there wasn’t enough time and party because that had actually really been a joke. However, Lei Jue taking the initiative and getting on top of him was too great, so Xiao Lingyu ended up doing it a couple more times than he usually did. That meant the two of them only fell asleep way past midnight.

Originally, they had meant to get up after a bit. But perhaps their bout of unrestrained sex had relaxed them too greatly, or perhaps this was such a rare occasion that they subconsciously didn’t want to get up, but when dawn arrived, they didn’t wake up like they usually did.

Pipi and Qiuqiu were still asleep. In fact, most everyone was asleep. But Kangkang had been awake for quite a while. He didn’t see mom and dad, so he was a bit upset. But he also knew that if he went to look for his parents now, his grandparents wouldn’t let him. So he had to sneak over. That was why the little guy turned into a small tree person, snuck out of the room and then walked toward the room he knew best.

He walked into the room and discovered his sleeping parents. Without thinking about it, he crawled under their covers.

But this time, Kangkang had made himself too tiny and hadn’t made any sound when he walked, so Xiao Lingyu and Lei Jue didn’t feel anything. The two of them slept like that for about two hours with their youngest son. Then, Luo Yuling’s shouts came from the direction of her room with Xiao Zhicheng, “Kangkang! Kangkang, where are you?”

Xiao Lingyu and Lei Jue sat up with a fright and put on their pants with a speed that rivaled a model’s ability to do so. Then they ran out of their room without even wearing shoes.

“What is it, Mom?” Xiao Lingyu and Lei Jue ran as fast as they could toward Luo Yuling.

“Kangkang’s gone, and I don’t know where he went. I swear he was here sleeping when I got up to check at night,” Luo Yuling was frantic and once again shook out the pillow and comforter that her grandson had slept in.

“Mom, don’t worry. He wouldn’t be far,” Xiao Lingyu pressed his fingers against his temple and told Carrera to run the program specially designed to scan for Kangkang. But they didn’t find a trace of him even after a while.

“He’s probably not in the room anymore,” Xiao Lingyu said and then checked through his grandmother’s flowers in case his son went on another spontaneous “sunbathing” trip. After all, that was one of the child’s favorite daily routines.

But this time, they didn’t find Kangkang on the flower either.

“Could he be back in our room?” Lei Jue asked as he ran back with Xiao Lingyu immediately following suit.

The two of them walked into the room to see the household robot putting new bedding onto their bed.

They did get a little too into it last night, and the bedding did need to be changed, but when the couple thought about whether Kangkang might be on their old comforter, their bodies broke out in cold sweat.

“Where did the old comforter go?” Xiao Lingyu asked.

“It’s getting cleaned in the washing room, Sir,” The robot worked and answered at the same time.

“Oh no! Not possible!” Lei Jue and Xiao Lingyu rushed toward the washing machine. But they had just halted in front of the washing machine when, with a boom, the washing machine exploded.

“Kangkang? Where are you? Come out,” Xiao Lingyu rifled through the torn fabric.

All of a sudden, there came the sound of dry heaving.

Lei Jue and Xiao Lingyu instantly stopped what they were doing and looked toward the sound to see their younger son lying flat against the floor and puking.
