Only when Di Lin reached the borders of Huainan did he discover how small the special aircraft that Xiao Lingyu arranged for him was. It was about the size of two shoeboxes put together, and its exterior was made of a very unique type of material. In the blink of an eye, it could replicate its surroundings, which meant it was great at camouflage. This meant that when it landed on the ground, it became the same color as the ground, and when it flew in the sky, it was the color of the sky.

Even more amazing was that it was super fast. This was truly a treasure.

Di Lin circled it once and hesitated over whether he should ask Xiao Lingyu for it. Then he tossed the thought aside. It was so small that he could fit in it, but Zuo Feng couldn’t. Was he supposed to fly separately from Zuo Feng every time he used this aircraft?

At the thought of Zuo Feng, Di Lin’s heart turned anxious again. He put the aircraft against the outside walls of the Zuo family home, and then hurriedly ran through the garden walls.

His nephew thought Zuo Feng would wait for him.

Di Lin felt a very small trace of satisfaction. So, just like the first time, he hastily but accurately clambered up the wall and was about to climb through Zuo Feng’s window.

By coincidence, Zuo Feng was standing at the window at that exact moment because he suddenly wanted to see which direction Di Lin was coming from. The end result was that Di Lin climbed up only to be greeted by Zuo Feng’s cold smile…

Oh f***, he really did seem angry!

Di Lin immediately shrank back and instinctively ducked. Then, he latched his tiny claws onto the windowsill and snuck a glance at Zuo Feng’s expression.

Then he heard a bang and realized Zuo Feng shut the window.

Di Lin, “…”

Di Lin hurriedly climbed up at the speed of light and tapped the window: Open up! I’m back! I didn’t get inside yet! It’s so hot out, why are you closing your windows?!

In order to prevent the other members of the Zuo family from finding him, Di Lin had turned himself very, very small. But Zuo Feng had discovered him the instant he patted the window. However, instead of immediately coming over to open the window, he looked at the little tree-person who was plastered against the window like a spider and rudely gave him the middle finger. In the next instant, he turned the smart window into opaque mode.

Now the window changed color so that Di Lin couldn’t see Zuo Feng and Zuo Feng couldn’t see Di Lin.

Instantly, Di Lin became worried. He slid down to the ground and then snuck in through the main door. After that, he rushed upstairs and, just like he did before, he forced himself through the crack between Zuo Feng’s door and the wall.

Because his motions were light, even Zuo Feng didn’t discover him. He took advantage of that moment and enlarged himself a bit. He jumped straight on Zuo Feng and surrounded Zuo Feng’s neck with his branch-like claws. Then he pressed a quick kiss against Zuo Feng’s cheek! His movement was fluid and smooth as if he did this every day.

“Did you miss me?” This was the first time Di Lin spoke to Zuo Feng as a tree. His tone was so smug it made people want to hit him, “You aren’t really angry, are you?”

“Angry my a**! You’ve got some nerve, coming back like this.” As Zuo Feng spoke, he surrounded himself with flames hoping to force Di Lin off him with this move. But the little thing stuck it out despite the pain and healed himself, refusing to get off!

“Ev-eve-even if you kill me, I’d ha-have come come… owww, so hot so hot!” Di Li cried as he held Zuo Feng even tighter, “Darling, hitting me is the same as caring for me and scolding me is the same as loving me. If you torture me like this it could practically be considered us having sex!”

“Don’t be so shameless! Did you do this?” Zuo Feng withdrew the flames and pulled Di Lin off and tossed him onto the sofa.

“I did,” Then Di Lin’s voice turned fearful, “And I seem to have accidentally gotten you involved. But that a****** had killed my family first, so he had to die.”

“So you came here to trick me into taking you to the birthday celebration?” Zuo Feng glanced at Di Lin and then lit a cigarette and sat down opposite of Di Lin, “If that’s the case, you can scram.”

“What if it’s not?”

“If not, then let me see what you really look like. If you don’t, then you can still scram.”

Di Lin, “….”

He had wanted to wait until the dust settled to let Zuo Feng get a clear look at his face, but once he remembered how Zuo Feng had intentionally come back to find him in the Haweila Palace, his heart softened.

“Fine, but you can’t get angry and you can’t burn me after seeing it,” Di Li said.

Zuo Feng nodded.

Di Li turned back into a human. Though he wasn’t wearing clothes and was stark naked, there were lots to see. His skin was pale, and his figure striking. He didn’t have any bulging muscles, but it was obvious they had an astounding amount of power in them.

He was still wearing the mask made of tree bark. Zuo Feng looked at him and, without reason, his mind recalled those intimate moments, and his heart beat faster.

In truth, Di Lin’s heart was beating even faster than Zuo Feng’s because Di Lin was even more nervous.

Di Lin’s face covered the mask, and the green light of healing energy lit up his palm. Afterward, the mask that seemed like it was attached to his face gradually disappeared.

Zuo Feng saw half of Di Lin’s face because the other half was covered behind Di Lin’s hands. But just that half was enough to give him a sense of déjà vu

“What’s your relationship with Lei Jue?” Zuo Feng frowned. He still felt that, beautiful though this face was, it was extra shocking. Mainly because it looked too much like Lei Jue’s. The only difference was that Di Lin was taller and buffer and had cleaner lines on his face.

“He’s my nephew. In private, he and Lingyu call you… Auntie. Hey, hey, hey!” Di Lin quickly averted the flames that shot toward him, “You promised not to burn me!

“You’re such a bastard; if I don’t burn you, who would I burn?! ‘Auntie’, my ass!” Zuo Feng summoned a big fireball and threw it at Di Lin. In an instant, the flame burnt Di Lin’s flesh. It was a pleasantly sore type of pain! have such strong healing abilities, that attack alone would have turned him into braised pork!

Di Lin ran around, whining and pleading. It’s not that he couldn’t stop Zuo Feng, but if he did, Zuo Feng would probably get madder. He may as well let Zuo Feng burn him to his satisfaction.

If it hadn’t been for the extra sound-proofing that Zuo Feng intentionally added after his family heard the sounds of Di Lin watching porn, Di Lin’s current screams would have attracted everyone’s attention.

Everything in Zuo Feng’s room was basically heat tolerant and flame retardant. In the end, Di Lin hid in the wardrobe and refused to come out no matter what!

“MY darling, my little bee, baby! Hey, hey, hey! Don’t burn, don’t burn! So hot!”

“You deserve it! Tell me what your intentions are!”

“You burnt me on Mount Rikalun, and I wanted to get you back, so I quietly followed you home. I didn’t think that you’d get poisoned and I couldn’t just leave given the ties between the Zuo’s and the Xiao’s. So I waited for a chance to get rid of the toxin for you…. I didn’t think that I’d leave my heart with you during the process. Zuo Feng, I really do like you. No, I truly love you!” After that speech, Di Lin secretly gave himself a big thumbs up at the mushy lines! It was amazing! But in the next second…

“Ahhhh, no more flames, no more flames! You’re going to burn off my pubic hair!” Zuo Feng  had actually managed to burn through the wardrobe door!

“You shut up!” Whenever Zuo Feng thought about how he… had done the deed… with Lei Jue’s uncle, he wanted to go crazy! He wished he could skewer Di Lin and turn him into a kebab! With that thought, he turned up the flame once more and trapped Di Lin in the wardrobe, as if wanted to turn him into a pill through alchemy.

“Oh my god! That’s about enough!” Di Lin slapped at the embers on his arm and couldn’t take it anymore. He came out and then immediately turned his left arm into long branches that wound tightly around Zuo Feng. The untransformed arm held Zuo Feng’s waist tightly and slowly but pervertedly drifted downwards…

People from the Golden Fruit Tree clan had unlimited healing powers, but Zuo Feng’s fire elemental abilities had a limit. After spewing flames for so long, Zuo Feng finally ran out of firepower. He panted in Di Lin’s arms and violently jabbed at Di Lin’s ribs with his elbow, “Scram!”

Di Lin stuck out his tongue and lightly licked a line across Zuo Feng’s neck. He said devilishly, “You came back after you left that day and looked for me in the gardens of Haweila Palace, didn’t you?”

Zuo Feng wanted to say “as if,” but he couldn’t lie.

Di Li saw how uncomfortable he was and let out a light chuckle. Then, he picked up and placed Zuo Feng on the bed.

Zuo Feng’s chest heaved up and down. He looked into Di Lin’s eyes and then, as if embarrassed, he turned his head aside and avoided his heated gaze.

Di Lin loved Zuo Feng like this. He pressed down on Zuo Feng’s body and enjoyed the rare moment of submission from Zuo Feng. His cock hardened even more. Just then, Zuo Feng sat up forcefully and flipped them so that he was on top. Then he leaned down and lightly nibbled at Di Lin’s collarbone…

Di Lin hissed slightly and felt all the blood rushing to one spot. But just as he put his hand on Di Lin’s waist and wanted to peel off those annoying pants, Zuo Feng suddenly rolled to the right, and he unexpectedly fell through the bed that parted down the middle. As he fell, Di Lin’s face was frozen in surprise.

The bed shut close with an inhuman speed and trapped Di Lin in a box underneath.

What the hell?

Di Lin slapped hard at the bed and the soft mattress parted to either side to reveal a transparent board.

Zuo Feng sprang up onto the board and squatted down to give Di Lin a haughty look. He told Di Lin in the box, “You’ve had your fun for days now. Sleep, and I’ll take care of you when I get back!”

Di Lin, “…”

He hurriedly turned into a little tree person and stood up to look pitifully at Zuo Feng. Unfortunately, Zuo Feng only lifted his eyebrows and then left.

Hey, you can’t do this!

Di Lin slapped violently at the transparent bedboard, but Zuo Feng had directly left without a backward glance. Even the mattress on top of the bedboard had been closed up, so he didn’t even have a light source. Di Lin jumped up and down in the pitch-black box. He looked for a long time without finding a way out. The bed looked like it was completely sealed off. If he wanted to get out, he’d have to bore a hole through the board. But there seemed to be air circulating through the box since he didn’t feel like suffocating at all.

After a while, Zuo Feng still hadn’t returned. Di Lin stopped fretting, and he laid down and threw one leg over the other. He pillowed his head against his branchlike arms and seemed utterly relaxed.

After Zuo Feng left, he wanted to pay Xiao Lingyu and Lei Jue a visit. But when he remembered the “Auntie” that Di Lin said, he stopped wanting to go. Right then, a notification again sounded on his communicator. He looked down to see that it was Mr. Single again, and naturally, he thought of Di Lin.

He had tucked Di Lin’s communicator in the drawer, so how was Di Lin sending him messages? Did the guy really get out this quickly?

Zuo Feng rushed back into his room. The first thing he did was check whether Di Lin’s “treebark” was still there. When he discovered that it was, he relaxed. But at the same time, he started wandering who Mr. Single really was. When Di Lin had turned human just then, he wasn’t wearing a stitch, so it was impossible for him to have hidden another communicator.

Did it have something to do with Lei Jue and Xiao Lingyu? If Di Lin were Lei Jue’s uncle, then it would be utterly reasonable for Lei Jue and Xiao Lingyu to know Di Lin’s whereabouts.

But neither Lei Jue nor Xiao Lingyu looked like they could be Mr. Single…

Zuo Feng couldn’t resist the curiosity. He opened up the bed boards and was about to ask Di Lin when he discovered the obnoxious little tree had really fallen asleep!

Angry, he grabbed Di Lin and tossed him onto his shoulder, “I call you a tree, and you really are a damned tree. Your nerves are about as thick as my leg!”

“The-third leg?” Di Lin asked sleepily even as he drooled.

“Shut up! Hurry up and turn small; I have to pay Xiao Lingyu a visit.” Zuo Feng poked the little tree person draped across his shoulder. When the other had turned small as he directed, he stuffed him into his pocket.

“Have Uncle or Zuo Feng replied?” Lei Jue looked at Xiao Lingyu as he drew meaningless lines on the board and asked with a smile, “Maybe Auntie’s still mad?”

“Not likely. He’s flying toward us,” Xiao Lingyu calculated the average moving speed of Zuo Feng’s aircraft and continued, “He should be here in about half an hour.”

“So you plan on telling Uncle about Emperor Suron?”

“Of course. We’re just getting to the real fight now. The old guy abandoned his public identity so he could play dirty tricks. So we need to have Uncle and Zuo Feng be more aware. If Emperor Suron thinks he can hide, we may as well play with him a bit,” Xiao Lingyu tapped a couple of times on the drawing board and then turned it so that it faced Lei Jue, “What do you think?”

“Works, but you have to ask Lingshu for help, right?” Lei Jue looked at the little robot schematic on the drawing board and asked, “Just this one?”

“Of course not.” Xiao Lingyu put together several schematics and sent them all off to his older brother, Xiao Lingshu. After that, he and Lei Jue looked at the four people, silent as rocks, sitting across from them.

Lu Xian, Qi Yu, Si Qin, and Che Heng.

Ever since Xiao Lingyu and Lei Jue brought the kids home from the Holy Eagle Mecha Corps, they hadn’t seen these four. Now the band of brothers was finally together again, but they were each quieter than the next!

Originally, Xiao Zhicheng had gone to the army to try and find some more dependable protection for the children. But these youngsters found out and thought that nobody would be more dependable than them, so they volunteered to come. Everything had been fine when they first arrived, but they turned into this after a short period of time.

Mostly they were a little scared of Pipi and Kangkang.

They were meant to help protect the kids, but as soon as they came, Pipi and Kangkang showed them up. The two brats! They had just wanted to watch, but the two kids had electrocuted them so hard their hairs stood on end, and their entire bodies were frozen!

What damned protection did they need!

The two of them put together were even more insane than Xiao Lingyu! Who’d have such a death wish as to try and steal these two kids!

If Xiao Lingyu and Lei Jue hadn’t run interference just in time, they would probably have been turned into human jerky.

“Pipi and Kangkang are just a little wary of strangers. You guys can relax, they’re not always out to shock people.” Lei Jue suddenly felt a little guilty as he said so…

“Once was scary enough. The ‘always’ doesn’t help any,” Qi Yu didn’t dare raise his voice in fear of getting the two little demon kings’ attention, “I insist on petitioning to hold the little princess. Nothing else will heal my injured soul.” Being electrocuted had been painful, but also really good!

“We’re probably the first to experience that electrocution attack from them, right?” Lu Xian asked.

“No, when Zuo Feng came before, he was simultaneously electrocuted and healed by Pipi. That was worse. You definitely don’t want to experience that.” Xiao Lingyu wanted to laugh at his recollection of that event. When he thought about the fact that Zuo Feng was coming soon, he wanted to laugh even harder because he wasn’t sure where Zuo Feng and Uncle were on the forgiveness progress bar.

Come to think of it, will Zuo Feng bring Uncle? Did Uncle tell Zuo Feng his real identity?

Once in a while, Xiao Lingyu would casually guess at the answer. Zuo Feng arrived about an hour later. He did bring Uncle. More accurately, he held Uncle as he walked in. Everyone saw that as Zuo Feng walked into the room, he had one hand in his pant pocket and the little tree person in the other hand. The tree-person was even hanging upside down.

More miraculously, the tree person let himself be held like that and made not a sound of protest.
