Chapter 90 – My Seed

Xiao Lingyu used the latest technology to “wake” his fake son, and part of that included copying Carrera’s memories, which meant the fake-Pipi was pretty good at adapting. Actually, he could accomplish and understand more things than the real-Pipi; he just didn’t have the insane natural energy that the real-Pipi did. That was something Xiao Lingyu was considering.

Emperor Suron was a sly old fox, and it wouldn’t be easy to trick him. So after Xiao Lingyu finished “waking” his son, he started trying to figure out how to make the fake-Pipi look like it had natural energy.

They really only had to demonstrate it once, but how to do so?

Xiao Lingyu’s first thought was to manually destroy some source of light, just like what Pipi did at the Haweila Palace. That way, since Emperor Suron had seen with his own eyes how Pipi used metal natural energy to explode the light, he should find the repeat performance more believable.

But then they needed a reasonable scenario, but they didn’t know where exactly things would happen.

Xiao Lingyu felt dizzy as he watched the fake-Pipi, who would occasionally reach out and stroke the fake-sprout on his head.

He hadn’t slept for three days because his actual son’s sudden act of electric shock had made their already tight deadline even tighter. So he had worked overtime to “wake” their fake son, and though Lei Jue helped replenish him during the process, his brain had constantly been working, which made him finally experience the sensation of brain overload.

It was late, and Lei Jue brought him some things to eat and drink. He put the glass of warm milk next to Xiao Lingyu and casually placed his hand across Xiao Lingyu’s neck, giving him some healing energy.

“Ahhh… that feels good,” Xiao Lingyu grabbed hold of Lei Jue’s hand and closed his eyes as he rubbed his face against those hands, “I told you not to wait up. How come you’re not asleep when it’s this late?”

“I’m still young and frisky, and it’s boring to sleep by myself. I miss you,” Lei Jue bent down behind Xiao Lingyu and hooked an arm around Xiao Lingyu’s neck while he held the glass of milk up to his lips, “I’ve written it all down. You owe me so much.”

“Well, we can’t let the debt pile up. When I’m done with this, I’ll give you everything down to my underwear. How about it?” Xiao Lingyu opened his eyes and pressed a kiss to Lei Jue’s palm. His milk mustache created a wet spot in Lei Jue’s palm, but Xiao Lingyu didn’t mind. He licked it clean and then pressed another kiss to Lei Jue’s palm. “Go sleep; I’ll be back in a bit.”

“Still working on trying to get the little Pipi natural energy?”

“Yeah. The material for his bones doesn’t care about the electricity, but his flesh and skin can’t bear it. So it’ll be harder to do something to him, especially… since I won’t be there that day.” Xiao Lingyu didn’t say any more, but Lei Jue understood.

“Honestly, I think it’s pretty perfect. Probably the only people who can tell the difference are us and mom and dad. Besides, Mr. Huang is pretty desperate right now. He’s so obsessed with getting the blood of a Gold Fruit Tree clan child. Do you think he’ll have so much time to think things over?” Lei Jue picked up the glass of red wine from the tray and took a small sip, “Besides, you don’t really need to remote control anything. Did you forget what you and Pipi love to do?”

“Hmmm?”

“This.” Lei Jue used his index finger to point at Xiao Lingyu’s hand and then hooked his finger twice. When Xiao Lingyu reacted by stretching out his own index finger, Lei Jue touched Xiao Lingyu’s index finger with his own.

“Oho! I actually forgot about this,” Xiao Lingyu bent his fingers and lightly knocked on his head, “Thank, Babe; looks like I can repay the debt tonight.”

“Alright, then I won’t disturb you.” With that, Lei Jue downed the rest of the wine. But before he left the empty cup behind as he prepared to leave and the translucent crystal cup stood on the desk as Lei Jue filled it with a bit of pale gold energy so that it filled about 80% of the cup. The rest of the 20% he filled with green healing energy. What Xiao Lingyu saw was a pale gold ball of energy enveloping a little, green heart.

Lei Jue used a similarly translucent lid to cover up the cup so that the energy inside would keep emitting light.

Xiao Lingyu, having let his guard down and gotten the romantic treatment from his ‘wife,’ suddenly wanted to turn lazy. He grabbed Lei Jue’s hand and bit Lei Jue’s fingertips, “Stay and keep me company. We’ll go to bed together in a bit.”

Lei Jue followed along with Xiao Lingyu’s biting motion and hooked a finger around Xiao Lingyu’s tongue. Then he sexily moved his fingers around in Xiao Lingyu’s mouth, as if to say that he was not only going to stay but also do something. But when Xiao Lingyu felt himself really stirring, Lei Jue withdrew his fingers and pointed at the fake Pipi next to them. Then he strolled out, completely unsympathetic.

Xiao Lingyu looked at his fake son, and the indescribable feeling of having been cockblocked rose in his heart.

At that exact moment, the fake-Pipi cried loudly, “Daddy!” Xiao Lingyu answered and then bent over to study those tiny hands again.

Lei Jue returned to the bedroom by himself and took his third cold shower for the day. He couldn’t describe how frustrated he was feeling right now. He had only known about animals going into heat, but he realized today that plant people like him had those too. Actually, ever since it started warming up, he had vaguely felt an increase in his sex drive, but at that time, he and Xiao Lingyu had nothing much to do besides caring for the children, so they’ve been able to have sex every night. He hadn’t felt too different because of that, but since Xiao Lingyu had become extra busy over the last few days and so he’d gone to bed by himself.

That’s when problems cropped up.

It was as if he had ingested aphrodisiacs, and he discovered that he was always thinking about that

At such a dangerous and critical time, he was… constantly… thinking of being f*cked.

Damn effing screw it.

Lei Jue took out a cigarette but tossed it aside when he saw the children sleeping in the bed. Truthfully, he had mostly stopped using those things after the children arrived, but he was supremely frustrated these days.

Lei Jue paced back and forth by the bed like ghosts were chasing him.

Pipi heard sounds and suddenly sat up, “Daddy!”

Lei Jue paused and walked over to their specially made cradle to pick up his son, “Daddy is working. Why are you awake?” He touched the diaper, “Are you hungry?”

Pipi repeated, “Daddy! Want! Daddy!”

Lei Jue picked the kid up, so the child sat on his arm, “Daddy is busy. You have to go back to bed.”

Pipi pushed with all his might making it clear that he wanted Lei Jue to take him to his Daddy. But they couldn’t disturb Xiao Lingyun right then, so Lei Jue paced around the room with him. Despite that, Pipi was still unhappy and pouted. Then he wailed so loudly as if someone had thrown him away.

Lei Jue watched his oldest son’s lively sprout suddenly wilt and hurried to cover his mouth out of fear, but it was too late. Pipi’s cries brought down the damned house, which they hadn’t even lived in for more than half a month. This time it was especially serious. Not only did their home collapse, but their neighbors also suffered.

Zuo Feng stood there amongst the rubble, his face terrifyingly upset.

The house collapsed at a damned opportune moment, right when Di Lin was about to climax! Most frustratingly, Di Lin, that damned asshole, turned into a tiny tree person as soon as the house collapsed! But he fell butt naked onto the ground with a satisfying whack!

Di Lin, I effing hate you!

Di Lin’s eyes could set fire to something. They had been standing upright with Zuo Feng in Di Lin’s embrace. As Di Lin turned into a tiny tree human, Zuo Feng’s body lost its support and naturally fell onto the ground.

It was only thanks to Zuo Feng’s sturdiness that his butt hadn’t splintered into pieces.

Zuo Feng hurriedly dragged on pants as his rage boiled over to an extent not easily described by words. What infuriated him even more was the fact that Di Lin’s attention wasn’t even on him!

Di Lin cautiously made sure that his seed was okay before noticing that his sprout was a bit damaged. He kept all his attention on trying to heal it, and there was no way he could spare any attention for Zuo Feng. At times like this, Zuo Feng might be important, but his seed was more important!

There was only one seed. There’d be no more if that one got damaged!

Di Lin was looking at his seed worriedly, but to Zuo Feng standing behind him, it appeared like the jerk had run away the minute something happened during their lovemaking, and not only that, but the jerk had made sure to check his own dick first! And hadn’t even asked about his safety!

By then, everyone except for Di Li and Zuo Feng had left from the collapsed houses. Those injured were getting healed by Lei Jue. and those who weren’t injured were helping set up new multifunctional houses. As for the children, they remained soundly asleep in their cribs. Well, except for Pipi.

Someone realized that Di Li and Zuo Feng hadn’t left the rubble and saw only Zuo Feng standing by himself amongst the collapsed house. So they called out to them, but Zuo Feng’s response was slightly terrifying.

The flames shot out from the rubble that used to be Zuo Feng and Di Lin’s house and, in a blink of an eye, the fire swallowed and destroyed everything surrounding the house.

Now they didn’t have to worry about cleaning up, even though the scent of something burning was a bit strong.

Di Lin almost turned to ash after the fire, and when he coughed, there was smoke coming out of his lungs. But that wasn’t important…

“Ah!” Di Lin stared at the “black pearl” in his claws and suddenly screamed, “Jue! Jue! Help me! My god!’ He rushed with all his might over to Lei Jue, “Help me! Help me!”

“What is it Uncle?” Lei Jue was terrified, thinking that Di Lin had suffered some kind of injuries.

“Seed! My seed!” Di Lin was almost sobbing. His tree-human form was naturally adorable, and now Di Lin looked especially pitiful, blackened from head to toe and carefully holding up a burnt seed while looking hopefully at Lei Jue as he exclaimed over his seed with a quivering voice.

As soon as Lei Jue heard “seed,” he knew what was wrong. He hurriedly provided some life source to the “black pearl” in the hopes that it would recover. But no matter how hard he tried, he could only heal it to how it was before. The sprout remained lifeless.

Di Lin was so frantic he could have suffered a stroke during the process.

Only then did Zuo Feng finally realize something was wrong. He walked over with a tense expression, “What is it?”

Di Lin immediately collapsed onto the ground and glared at Zuo Feng. “You almost burnt our kid’s house to a crisp!”

Zuo Feng looked at him speechlessly, “What did you say?”

Di Lin looked heartbroken at his seed and didn’t know how to heal it.

At this, Lei Jue explained things to Zuo Feng and then asked Di Li, “Uncle, how come you let it sprout now?”

Di Lin’s body was fully recovered now, and he said awkwardly, “It’s not that I wanted it to sprout now, it’s that suddenly it…” He just hadn’t wanted to miss the season, and since he and Zuo Feng were practically spouses, he had retrieved the seed that he had hidden away at a secret location. He wanted kids; they were so much fun that a dozen wouldn’t be too much! But he hadn’t counted on it sprouting so suddenly. If it hadn’t been for the special fragrance, he wouldn’t even have realized.

Lei Jue recalled how he and Xiao Lingyu, too, had made their own seed sprout while being wholly unprepared. But then again, what the heck were these two doing just then?

Zuo Feng’s tears turned red under Lei Jue’s suggestive smile, but he didn’t say anything. He could understand why Di Lin was so protective over the seed; after all, judging by what Lei Jue said, this thing was directly related to how many children they could have in the future.

But he was still a bit vexed!

Zuo Feng turned around to help prepare the new houses. He thought about talking to Di Lin again the next day. If Di Lin explained the seed to him nicely, he’d let this thing go and never talk about it again.

But fates didn’t give Zuo Feng the chance the next day. Because as soon as the sky dawned, the interstellar police arrived to take Zuo Feng away.
